Feature-length sequel from Aardman Animations following Shaun voice of Justin Fletcher and his flock of sheep as they try to help a lost alien find its way home. Shaun and his friends on Mossy Bottom Farm receive an unexpected visitor when friendly alien Lu-La Amalia Vitale crash-lands into one of their fields. Her arrival causes a frenzy in Mossingham, with the Farmer John Sparkes putting the flock to work to build a 'Farmageddon' theme park to cash in on the craze. Meanwhile, Shaun attempts to help Lu-La find a way home, but the Ministry of Alien Detection have their own plans for the alien creature.
