The episodes, adapted from Agatha Christie's novels, comprise 'Elephants Can Remember', 'The Big Four', 'Dead Man's Folly', 'The Labours of Hercules' and 'Curtain - Poirot's Last Case'. The series features appearances from stars such as Iain Glen, Patricia Hodge, Sarah Parish, Rebecca Front, Simon Callow and Philip Glenister.
