As wealthy married couple Dan and Emily Compston and Rundle are struggling to conceive and evaluate their options for having a child, Emily is introduced to 18-year-old Kaya Mirren Mack who, despite only recently leaving the care system, agrees to be a surrogate mother for Dan and Emily.
