Idil Biret: 75th Anniversary Concert (DVD / NTSC Version)

Turkish pianist Idil Biret performs at the Istanbul Lutfi Kirdar ICEC in 2016 to celebrate her 75th birthday. For the concert she treats her audience to renditions of Hindemith's 'Piano Concerto', Rachmaninov's 'Rhapsody On a Theme of Paganini, Op. 3' and Schumann's 'Fantasiestcke, Op. 12, No. 7' as she is joined on stage by Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra led by conductor Toshiyuki Shimada.
