1980s sci-fi comedy based on the Marvel Comics character. 27-year-old extraterrestrial Howard the Duck Ed Galevoice of Chip Zien is transported from his home on Duckworld to Cleveland, Ohio where he falls for punk rock singer Beverly Switzler Lea Thompson. As they search for a way to transport Howard back home, forces from outer space arrive to destroy Earth and Howard must save the planet.
