American thriller directed by Constantin Costa-Gavras and starring Debra Winger and Tom Berenger. FBI agent Cathy Weaver Winger goes undercover to investigate an underground white supremacist group connected to the killing of a controversial radio chat show host. During the course of her duties Cathy falls for the apparently upstanding family man, Gary Simmons Berenger, however, when she discovers that he is one of the main perpetrators behind the racial violence her loyalties are put to the test.
